MoreMins, a Lithuanian startup in our portfolio, is in partnership with Novaturas, the largest tour operator in the Baltics, to introduce a eSIM mobile internet service aimed at improving connectivity and lowering costs for travelers. The service allows users to access high‑quality internet abroad, including in non‑EU countries, without needing to swap physical SIM cards or rely on potentially insecure public Wi‑Fi. This collaboration is a first among Baltic tour operators and reflects growing traveler demand for reliable, affordable data access during trips.

Travelers often face high roaming fees, poor network access, and complications when trying to purchase local SIM cards in foreign destinations. MoreMins’ eSIM service addresses these issues by enabling travellers to order mobile data plans online, use mobile networks in multiple countries, and maintain security and speed even outside typical coverage zones.

Novaturas CEO Kristijonas Kaikaris noted that customers had increasingly asked about internet access abroad, prompting the company to look for innovative solutions. With MoreMins handling the technology and service integration, Novaturas is now offering its clients this enhanced connectivity service for trips to all destinations, inside and outside the EU. Early feedback from users has been positive, especially for non‑EU travel where connectivity and data costs have traditionally been challenging.

This partnership enhances the travel experience for Novaturas customers and strengthens MoreMins’ position in the telecom sector as a provider of next‑generation travel data solutions. It also underscores the potential for startups to drive innovation in traditional industries like tourism by solving real pain points for consumers.
